Tarzan, the wonder car (mauritian version)

24 March 2009 20 Comments

Does everyone still remember of the bollywood movie named “Tarzan, the wonder car“?

lol, you know, the only film where the main actor takes an old and useless car, modifies it into one of the best of the roads?

Or perhaps the famous Peugeot advert...

I am sure, you know what I am talking about!

Yashvin, pages of my life

Mauritian version?

So, here is the local one (pictures taken in Jan 09) :

Lol! That’s among my fav tv adverts….

I think ad agencies here should really learn from India. I believe that they make the best tv commercials ever…fantastic!!!

As for the car, well, non merci :P I prefer X-trails, rav 4, Jeeps to cars unless it’s a Jaguar :)

En passant, I know that it’s not the same car…

    For ReenaDKL
just for info: that’s a french adv, not an indian one

  • ReenaDKL

    @ Morisien

Do you think that Toyota adverts in Mauritius is done by Japanese?? Or is Orange done by the French??? :P

I personally work on CanalSat adverts….

Yes, the car is French but the advert is done by Indian agency, plus that was not my point. I said:

“Lol! That’s among my fav tv adverts….

(Change of paragraph means am talking about something else here…)

I think ad agencies here should really learn from India. (I did not say ‘they should learn from this advert…’) I believe that they make the best tv commercials (not that this(the Peugeot one) is the best Indian tv commercial) ever…fantastic!!!”

    Peugeot 206: The Sculptor
    shots issue 100: Clip 59: May 2007
    Director: Matthijs van Heijningen
    Agency: Euro RSCG Milano

Just to prove my point that the advert was not done by French (nor Indians for that matter…my mistake here I admit..though the actors, settings, music and film crew were Indians…lol!) :P
