  until you prove the contrary the van that is on the double yellow lines i doubt it is a police vehicle!! as far as i can see there is no “POLICE sign” on the van and you haven’t been able to take a decent picture for us to see the number plate!!!

  and instead of challenging people here you are giving their opinions go and tell the policemen directly!!! don’t do it behind their back!!!

  go and verify if they have the right to do it before using “hard words”: “VIOLE” as the police, firemen, ambulances have the right to drive although the lights are RED!!!

  so don’t start a discussion if you can’t accept people don’t have the same opinion like u!!!

  weps, i agree that there is no proof in the pictures (shown above) that the other vehicle is in fact a police vehicle, but, but, but i do have another picture with its plate number (y)

  As for verifying if they have the right to do this, it has already been done through a friend and seems that they dont have the right to, except in emergencies, as u stated above, even in red lights…

  and its not being done “in their backs” koz wat am writing here is public and no password or any stuff is requires to access this page.

  btw, u only talked about one of the vehicles,wat about the other one?
  isnt it a police vehicle?
  isnt it parked illegally and blocking the ‘sortie de voitures’ which i specified above?

  as for me, am only blogging pages of my life, my views & opinions, how i see life… its something personal and if u wish to continue reading, then, gr8…
  writing about bus transport or authorities in mauritius, is something rather personal, and with the help of this post, i gather wat others think about this.
  thats the aim of these kindda of posts.

  i never aimed to go and file a case at the Police Complaints Office, and i never mentioned to do so

  the journalist code of ethic states that you should verify and counter verify your information before stating anything and not just taking for granted that something is like that or like this… do you know the reason behind the way they parked the vans?

  regarding the question about whether i have a relative in the police force, you haven’t replied my question about your friend with whom you enquired and supposedly told you that they don’t have the right to park… is your friend a member of the police?

  just imagine, if i post the original pictures of resolution 2048x1536pixels n of size 700kb, then, no one would wait for the page to load all those pics.
  So you work for a newspaper, that doesn’t mean anything koz not everybody is a journalist in a newspaper company

  as for the friend thing, the person in question is above & receiving notifications about every comments, i guess if the person wants to reply, he/she may do so.
  btw, u dont necessary have to form part of the police force to know the law.
