Express yourself with Gmail…

30 April 2009 9 Comments

Gmail has just launched a new set of emoticons.

To activate them, you must have LABS enabled.

From there, click on Enable the “Extra Emoji” as shown below :

Enable Emoji

I forgot to mention, there are hundreds of them, and most of them are animated!

    Il était temps. Mais pffff…Emoticons in a mail is not a striking feature..It’s fun but not as cool as in IM.

    @Reena : Gmail releases extra (sometimes experimental) features for users who enabled Labs under their account.

    Check out the official page on Gmail Blog.

    @Yadhav : Nice question, but I don’t have an answer.

    @Carrot : Who isn’t on gmail? :P

    Absolutely hate emoticons, 1-2 is fine, but if someone starts chatting to me on msn with loads of emoticons or emails me with loads of them, that person is going on my block list!

    I am not an email expert, but I still think hotmail is better than gmail. I have an a/c on gmail but I never use it, don’t know why I should use it…

    @Yadhav: yes the google app account is valid only until the domain is reg on a nameserver. It uses CNAME records of the nameservers. If deleted, your google app email too stop to exist.
