@yashvin .. i prefer the more futurisic and expensive idea tho .. we should start thinking big for mauritius lolz..
ther’s surely no lacks of money now that sithanen won’t be around .. the small cretin is known to enjoy spending government money .. which he will surely do, the thing is that we should give him good ideas where to spend them

@Ashfaq : Nice and futuristic idea but I think that you can guess that this will cost millions : equipment, logistics, consultancy etc…
And no one knows if and when the next government will remove that “transport gratuit” from the system.
There may be some more simpler and cheaper ways to monitor that… may be more time consuming but worth the little money invested.

1 payement avec 1 style carte de credit ti pou bien mieux .. since as someone said .. ena zenfan pena compte d’epargne .. nek ena pou create 1 compte aupres du gouvernment meme pouzenfant la .. lerla kan zenfan pran bus .. li nek donne controllere so carte credit.. carte credit la pwena piti la so figire lors la .. sinon controlleur pa pwaccepter .. sa elimine the need for a pincode ..
lerla sak coute piti pran bis .. gouvernment send the cash to the company dotobus kine sa machine la ine enregistrer .. li 1 methode bien simple.. bane bus la nek ena pou mette 1 ti connection 3G ar zotte.. saeme tou !

Being in the civil engineering sector its very obvious that all the road being constructed will be useless Only the metro leger will solve the problem and be uselful in the long term. C juste ki aukain gov jamais pou ena courage pou al de lavant avec sa projet la coz couma nou conÃ© que c bane agent politique ki bane propritaire bus. tout sa bane letude kine faire la so largent ti pou assez pou lance sa projet la.
We all know that with metro leger ena 1 tas lavantage comme tout le temp a lheur et pa bloker dans circulation.

3rdly Mo dakor avek transport gratuit mais pa avec so formule. I know bus owner who are paid daily by the gov but it hapens when their bus get break down and stay in the garage they still get paid. Mo ti pou prefere ki gov done bane eleve largent en form de Transport fee pareil coment bane travailleur gagne. Gov verse largent la dans compte la bank bane eleve et li ti pou mieux. Et sa li pou evite ki ban bus pas prend bane zelev.

@faisal mo bien apprecier to reponse… mo dakor r toi somehow mais pour te dire franchement 5 ans de cela both main parties were proposing this free transport program. and you now that most of us vote for the main parties so li ti difficile pas vote pour either . et aussi to dire independent etc.. mo dakor mais li depane ptet circonscription aussi. dan mo circonscription something’s sure .. si banla dire travail pane faire.. b zot ban mari debot fixe. enfin ene ti remark akoT sa.mais li rejoindre un peu to notion de voT inteligemment, si to trouV ki ene parti ine amene bon zafer.. du moins dan to circonscription u should vote for it and otherwise sanction it in case where no work was done.

@dvil , Comme citoyens, nu bizin consciant ki ban politiciens pe propose. Nu bizin diskite, debate lors ban point la ek pa lesse zot met nu dans la sos. Sa ki nu pe fer lor Yashvin so blog li deza ene tres bon kitchoz. 5 ans de cela pas ti ena sa. Internet/Social media fer bans citoyens fort.
Ossi, 5 ans de cela, comme dans sa elections la, pas ti ena zis sa 2 laliances la. Ena lezot parti, ena banne independents ossi. Guette tou sa ki zott tu pe offert mais pas less zot embette par ban zoli kado ki pu fer ou lavie difficile. Ek pas lesse ene parti gagne otans puvoir ki li vinne dictater.

@yashvin nu tu nu bizin paye tax ek nu tu pu servi sa banne infrastructure la. sa ki mo pe dir se ki chaque nuvo kado ki ene parti pe propose, li pas vraiment ene kado. Ou pu paye pu sa meme si zamais ou pas servi li. Mo accepter paye ene grand prix si li ene proposition responsable ek ki government in clairement faire tu comprend ki fer sa tax la. Bizin ena transparence – non pas bribe popilation ek fer zot paye sans zot conne ki fer. Si zot ti dir ki li vo lapeine offert transport gratuit ek li pu coite zis X roupies extra lor zot tax, mo ti pu pli d’accord – mais pas embette dimoune.
