So you work for a newspaper, that doesn't mean anything koz not everybody is a journalist in a newspaper company :P as for the friend thing, the person in question is above & receiving notifications about every comments, i guess if the person wants to reply, he/she may do so. btw, u dont necessary have to form part of the police force to know the law.
