It's more like an event with animations, musics ... It's quite a good thing for Mauritius because people are coming and it's friendly. People get out of their houses and see other part of the island. Not really sure the shops are making much more sales ... but it's better than having a dead island with everything closing a 5 pm and nothing to do during the evenings. Well, the 24/7 is not really to open the shops all night i think.

So much that at Grand Bay, I thought it was a night-time fancy fair. I guess Mauritians are just not used enough to the concept of dine-out night-life. Was there. Not much to do though.
